Marc Ruxin is a technology and media expert, both as an operator and consultant, who advises boards, CEOs and senior leaders across the Tech Sector on leadership development and assessment. Based in San Francisco, Marc applies over 25 years of experience in strategy, marketing and corporate development to help clients meet their long-term goals in product development and operations. Over the course of his career, Marc established himself as a trusted advisor who thrives at the intersection of media and technology, with a knack for strategy, investing and fundraising. Most recently, Marc was the CEO and founder of Small Factory Ventures, where he advised public and private media and technology companies like Peloton, Pax and others. Before that, he was CEO of Mixhalo where he raised $11M from investors and drove all product, strategy and deal-making with clients in the music and sports industry. In that role he developed the hardware/software model with AEG, Staples Center and NBA. Earlier in his career, he was the founder and editor of Snoozebutton, the earliest and longest running indie music and film blog, where he reported on underground culture.
